Violence never wants or expects a peaceful response: it desires nothing better than violent resistance, because that is what perpetuates it, what keeps it alive. The one response that violence cannot deal with effectively is the non-violent one: monitor violence, report it, film it, relentlessly expose it for what it truly is. That is the one response that drives violence absolutely insane, that inevitably turns it backward upon its own blood-drenched sword.
What qualifies you to judge what is "junk" and what is "sound" science? Or have you, in fact, just borrowed this facile method of debunking real science from the tobacco companies that tried for so long to convince us smoking was not dangerous? (The answer is "Yes" by the way!)
